Larry Von Wald has been practicing law in South Dakota for more than 35 years. He has gathered a wide range of experience over his career. Before entering private practice, Von Wald served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State South Dakota, an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of South Dakota and General Counsel for a mining, oil & gas, construction materials, engineering, transportation and manufacturing conglomerate. He has extensive experience in condemnation, construction litigation, criminal law, mining and environmental matters, civil litigation including accident and injury law and business related subjects. His practice is largely devoted to matters involving litigation. He has been lead counsel in jury trials in numerous South Dakota counties both east and west of the Missouri River. In addition to the State and Federal Courts in South Dakota, Von Wald is admitted to practice before the Oglala Sioux and Rosebud Sioux Tribal Courts.
